Coronation Street's Michelle Connor is about to get a new love interest called Sonny, but regular soap watchers could be forgiven for thinking they've seen him somewhere before.
The man in question is played by Pal Aron, who will be better known to fans of The Bill as DC Brandon Kane.
The actor joined the cast of the ITV1 police drama in 2002 and stayed for two years.
Pal is also no stranger to Weatherfield, having appeared in the serial twice before, once as a character called Daniel Garman and then as Sunita's brother Jayesh Parekh.
He's due to return to the cobbles on December 22, when Sonny catches Michelle's eye after she thinks she's been stood up by Steve McDonald.
