Former Hear'Say singer Suzanne Shaw is to appear in an episode The Bill,

The 26-year-old performer started filming today and is to play a woman called Laura who is involved in a car accident.

PCs Will Fletcher (Gary Lucy) and Diane Noble (Kaye Wragg) are first to the scene and Laura is eventually cut out of the drivers seat.

As always, things aren't quite what they seem in Sun Hill when Laura claims she wasn't the one driving.

Suzanne's episode is scheduled to air in June.
